unable to submit

I haven't been here for awhile. I am so bummed out about not being able to submit anything. My connection is so slow I keep getting that connection failed message no matter what I try to submit. Soooooo, I'm going to have to let my subscription lapse until I can get a faster connection. It expires Sept. 30th. I'll still visit though.
Keep on creating and I will too.

New Camera Shots

I have many new photos taken with my new Camera. Problem is I have yet to be able to get any to upload here. Having the usual problems with "connection failed" messages. I'll keep trying! So keep an eye out for some great sunsets and rises. Plan to shoot some flowers today.

Sunrises and Spiders?

I know. What a weird combination.
I'm having problems sleeping lately. For the last few nights when going outside for a smoke, I discovered my "Porch Renter" (see deviation). I can only imagine what my neighbor thinks is happening with that flash going off at 3AM.
This morning The sky was particularly "PINK" so off I went to shoot it. "Scuse me while I kiss the sky"

Mountain Sunset

I was finally able to submit a shot taken in the Smokey Mountains from my recent vacation.

It's very frustrating to have to try and submit things for 2 days before they finally go through. I guess it's my slooooooooow Internet cinnection. I just keep having to reduce the size of my things before they finally go.

Anyway.... my camera was purchased for sending piks to Ebay. It is only 1.3 mega pixels. Very low quality but fast for submitting to ebay.

I majored in Multi-media in collage and focused heavily on photography. I love it. Unfortunately my budget has not allowed me to maintain and replace the quality equipment I need to do my photos justice. My 35 mm finally died and cannot be replaced as of yet. My dream is for one of the new high mega pixel cameras (8+). My cousin has one and it is great.

Maybe someday......
Can you tell I'm kinda bummed? Sorry to vent but sometimes the depression just takes hold too much.

Home again

We're back form the Smokey Mountains. Quite a long trip. It took 12+ hours to get there. We devited it into 2 days each way.
The mountains were beautiful and amazing. I got a few good shots and will post them soon. It rained a lot and there were a lot of low hanging clouds (hence the name "smokey mountains)
